Great cloth for removing makeup. Equal to the Makeup Eraser
I love the idea of these makeup removing rags. It saves a lot of money to be able to buy one product that removes makeup, oil, and dirt without having to buy makeup wipes, cleanser, and all the other products that we spend money on to clean makeup off of our faces.<br />I will be comparing this product to the name brand Makeup Eraser http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KBPSUYC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00 that I bought off Amazon as well and have had since June 16th 2015 so I can see if they are the same of different.<br /><br />Makeup Eraser Claims:<br /><br /> Makeup Eraser removes 100% of your makeup with just water.<br /> Removes mascara including waterproof mascara in just seconds.<br /> Cloth is approximately 7" wide x 16" long.<br /> All natural, no chemicals, and machine washable.<br /> Use up to 1000 times and everything comes clean;no stains and remains soft. The Makeup Eraser (pink)<br />* Both cloths are soft and both sides feel the same as the other.<br />*The purple cloth is a tad bigger than the pink cloth which is nice.<br />* They both remove waterproof mascara easily along with other regular makeup.<br />* They both wash up the same.<br />* The makeup eraser feels thicker than the Makeup Remover but does not affect the makeup removers ability to remove makeup.<br />*The price is quite different. The Makeup Remover (purple) is around $13.00 and the Makeup Eraser is around $20.00 for pretty much the exact same thing.<br /><br />If you are looking for a way to save money and want a cheaper version than the Makeup Eraser but performs the exact same, I would go with the Makeup remover. Save that extra money because this cloth performs the same thing as the Makeup Eraser.<br /><br />* I was sent the makeup remover cloth at a discounted price for my ubiased review. Works great and is chemical free.
I bought this makeup remover because I wanted something different than the disposable wipes that I was using. I like that this towel is chemical free and much cheaper than continuing to by packages of wipes. I have seen a similar product on sale in stores for a lot more money so I decided to try this one. It's very soft. I love the way it feels against my skin. I really like that I can use it and then hang it up to dry and reuse it for about a week before I toss it in the washing machine. After it dries, it is still soft unlike a regular washcloth that gets hard and stiff. It does get makeup marks on it, especially from my mascara, but they come out in the wash. I was curious as to whether the towel actually took off all of my makeup when compared to a prepackaged wipe so I used a wipe after I used this makeup remover. There was very little makeup on the wipe. I was very pleasantly surprised. I also like that the makeup remover is rectangular instead of the small square shape that some of the similar products are. It has more surface area which makes it easier to remover my makeup. The only thing that I wish this one had is a small loop at one end to hang it up by. Right now I just hang it over my towel rack to dry. I was able to try this makeup remover ata discounted price in return for fair and honest feedback. I rely heavily on reviews when buying new items and I am always honest and unbiased in mine. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Clean face & great for the environment.
This cloth makes less waste then all those cotton balls I would normally have to use. Toss in the washer before using the first time and then just wet prior to taking off makeup. Easy! !<br /><br />The spirit of full disclosure, I receive this item free to facilitate this review.
Good, not perfect, but really nice
This is now the second makeup removing towel of this kind and I will admit I was a skeptic about this magic towel concept, but I was offered the opportunity to review it at a reduced price and curious to compare it to the other brand I have tried. The towel itself came with instructions to wash before use, after washing I immediately noticed when I pulled it out of the washer the towel felt nearly dry already.Which is the same experience I had with the other towel. So instead of drying it with the rest of the load, I left it out to air dry to see how long it really takes to dry. One of the things I was really wondering about this towel is, if it works, could it be something to take on a long trip, where I will be packing up and moving locations every couple of days. I wouldn't want to through a moist towel into my bag and end up with a musty bag of cloths for the entire trip! This did take a while to dry, maybe a couple of hours, but that seems far less than a regular washcloth or towel.<br /><br />The washcloth itself is super soft and plush, and when you get it wet is holds ALOT of water, which might be part of its magic. The directions say to get the towel wet and rub the towel with tcircular motions. Once done you can choose to flip the cloth to the to exfoliate. This towel feels really nice and gentle on my skin, and and it definitely took off the BB foundation and undereye concealer I was wearing. As for my eye shadow, eye liner and mascara, it did a decent job, but there was definitely residue left over that I felt I needed to to back over with a little soap and water. I actually went back over my face with a wet wipe to see if there was any other make up residue left behind and did find that a light amount of my face cream still wiped off, but it was a very small amount, it seemed that it was mostly my eye area that needed a little extra wash.<br /><br />Overall I really like this washcloth. The idea of rarely having to use soap or chemicals to get a clean fact is really appealing. I am prone to styeโs so I will always be more vigilant about cleaning my mascara and eyeliner area more, but overall I am presently surprised by this product.<br /><br />As stated earlier, I received this product at a reduced price for my honest and unbiased review.
