Feels Good and Looks Good, A New Make-up Staple
I was looking for a new foundation approach and loved what I heard about this brand. It was better than expected with nice allover natural coverage, especially for the price. I purchased 05, which works for my light Olive complexion. I like the approach that CLOVE + HALLOW is taking with their ingredients and design. I can't wait to check out more of their products.
Impressive!
I switched to natural products and Iโve had a hard time finding foundation that works with my skin. Iโve purchased liquid and cream foundations and they all accentuate my pores, texture, and dryness. This powder is the best Iโve tried yet! Doesnโt look cakey or cling to texture/dry patches and it provides impressive coverage for a powder. Evens skin tone and does a good job with redness and blemishes but my freckles still showed through a bit. This isnโt super full coverage but add some concealer and youโre basically full coverage. I used lotion & primer underneath and a setting spray and it lasted morning to night.
Clean Ingredients & Excellent performance
I really like this pressed mineral foundation 05. I did notice it started to look bumpy after a few uses, like others said, but it seems to perform the same, so no big deal to me. It is not drying and it doesn't irritate my sensitive acne prone skin. It wears well and makes my 52 year old skin look more vibrant. I use the Clove and Hallow concealer 03 under my eyes and on any blemishes then use a foundation brush to press the mineral powder into my skin and lightly blend for a flawless finish. It keeps my skin oil free throughout the day. Bonus: Clean Ingredients!

Kind of sklimpy
I bought the powder foundation in search of a foundation that would not aggravate a spot of eczema on my cheek. This far, does not seem to annoy it, BUT the depth of the foundation amount in the pan is so THIN! It's not a cheaply priced product given the amount in the refill. To achieve full coverage, the product is going to dissipate in no time.
Great buildable, Natural Coverage
I have medium to fair skin with freckles so having a powder that looks natural, doesn't turn me pinkish white and also evens my complexion is super important. I like a natural look but I also like full coverage on occasion. The reviews on this product convinced me and I am super happy with it. The only thing I don't love is the white packaging of the case (purchase separately) as it is going to get super dirty in my purse. Also just a disclaimer that the compact does not come with a sponge so a kabuki brush or sponge/pad will be needed for application.
