The perfect color for me

I have gone from having very dark hair to going prematurely gray. Of course, when that happens, your eyebrows have a tendency to look a bit patchy. Colorgram's Artist formula Auto Brow Pencil is just what I have been looking for.

I love the broad, brush like tip that fills my eyebrows in easily and makes them look super natural. There is a blending brush at the oppposite end so you can do more blending. The color tends to last all day and stays put until I decide to take it off ant night.

Nice color but dry

My eyebrows have faded as I've aged but their shape is still good, so I just need something to darken them up a bit. I usually use a tinted gel because I sometimes get carried away with pencils, which makes my brows look huge & angry. Also, I have to set the pencil with a clear gel, anyway, so a tinted gel saves me a step. I've recently found a pencil that I liked through either Ipsy or Birchbox & this pencil looked similar, so I decided to give it a try.

It has a pencil with an angled tip on one end & the other end has a spoolie. The pencil can be advanced or retracted with a twist of the shaft. It seems to be well-made but, at first, I couldn't get the pencil to draw. It was so hard & dry that nothing would come off. It took several minutes of rubbing it on the back of my hand before I finally got a faint line of color. I had to keep going for several more minutes before I could consistently get color to come off the pencil.

Once I tried it on my brows, I was pleasantly surprised. The color, Dark Brown, is good for me but I would call it more of a medium brown. I have dark brown, almost black, hair but I feel like if I match my brows to my hair, they look too harsh, so I like to keep them softer, which makes this color perfect for me.

Overall, I do like this pencil but it still seems a little too dry, even after several uses. It could be a fluke with just this particular pencil. I'd be willing to purchase another as long as the price was reasonable.
