Great brush for thick or long hair!

I've always had long/thick hair and this is the best brush by far I have ever used; in fact, I ordered another in case they quit making them. I like the natural boar bristles, but most all-boar bristle brushes are too soft and don't brush through all the way to my scalp. Conair added a single plastic bristle to each group of boar bristles and the combination seems just right to me - strong enough to hold up brushing through thick hair without being scratchy and making my hair static-y like all-plastic bristles are. The bamboo handle should seems very strong and sturdy. If you like a soft wimpy hair brush, this brush isn't for you, but if you like natural bristles that will hold up through thick or long hair, give this one a try.
