great mask
Perfect for me, light weight adjustable strap, comfortable.<br />Contour in mask so it never touches the eye, important after surgery.<br />adjust the strap for comfort and I forget it's there, and I sleep<br />on my side no problem.

They block light well and are quite comfortable. Never a night without them since I got them a couple of months ago.

I bought this because I am often in need of eye covers due to the amount that I fly or simply because I hate to have light in the room when I sleep!<br />I found that this eye mask provides an almost 100% darkness (a little light may get in around the nose area, but that's pretty usual...unless the mask was custom made for each person's face). I particularly like the fact that it gives a raised space on eye area allowing me to be free of eyelash crushing!<br />It's very comfortable and I am happy with them.
Comfort but not dark enough for some folks
Better than most, comfortable but some light still comes thru around nose and cheeks. I'm still looking for the perfect one but this is the best I've found so far. Would recommend with caveat.
quality product
I had bought a similar product in the past (from 40 blinks I believe) that was great, but fell apart quickly. I'm an insomniac, so I wear a mask almost nightly and I need something with more durability.This mask is much better put together. I actually bought this one for my boyfriend to help when he travels on business. When I finally get fed up with my other one, I'll probably buy one of these.
Almost perfect
I purchased an sleep mask just like this in a store and, when it went missing, searched for it high and low until I found it here on Amazon. The mask blocks light well with little or no light leaking in around your nose and none around the eyes. The contoured eye coverings place no pressure on your eyelids. I never felt comfortable sleeping in a traditional sleep mask until I used this style. I can even open my eyes in my mask and my lashes don't even brush it.<br /><br />The comfort in wearing meant I quickly adjusted to its use and now can't hardly sleep without it. As someone who has had trouble sleeping and finds napping almost impossible, having the routine of perfect dark when I sleep at night has allowed me to build a trigger. Now, when I need to sleep early, want to catch a nap, find myself in a plane, or other times I might ordinarily find it hard to sleep, I can place my mask on and it signals sleep perfectly. It's improved my sleep length and frequency, as well as reduced the time it takes me to fall asleep, which I think anyone could appreciate.<br /><br />My only gripe is that, while I thought this one was exactly like my previous mask, there's a little difference. There's a little plastic piece on the side of the elastic that joins loops for the adjustment system and they sit very near my ears. I can sometimes feel it digging in and I never remember feeling that on my previous mask. For occasional use, you may not notice it, but using them nightly, the little part can bother me sometimes. My solution plan involves breaking the part and replacing it with something soft or hand-sewing that connection point. Customization is a very small price to pay for the amazingly comfortable contoured foam that makes up the main body of the mask.
