Realistic look and feel
I'm the type of person who firmly believes you're never too old to play dress up. This might have something to do with the fact that I'm the aunt to 5 nephews and 2 nieces, so I'm always doing SOMETHING with the kids...often times using our imaginations to the maximum! I knew this wig would be the perfect addition, I just didn't know when I ordered it that this would actually become something I really love! Surprisingly this length of hair is about the same length of my own so it was REALLY nice to get an idea of what my hair would look like as a different color. This wig came down to my chest in the front, a little below my shoulders in the back. When it was on, if you didn't know me personally you would very seriously mistake it for being real. I actually sent a friend I rarely talk to a photo of my wearing this wig and her first question was, "Is it real?" So let me start by telling you the basics about this wig. First, this does come with a wig cap. I don't use them. I'm not really sure HOW to use them, even with the included instructions. I'm sure if I were really concerned with wearing the wig cap I could figure it out. I just think it's nice that there's one included for those of you who actually know how to wear them. Second, this wig doesn't itch. If you've ever worn a wig for an extended period of time you're probably aware that they get kind of scratchy after a while. This is soft and I wore it for quite some time (roughly 2 hours) and didn't get itchy at all! Third, this is a longer wig so keep that in mind when ordering. This isn't short by no means but it's not as long as some of the wigs I've seen in the past that are like 3 feet long. I think this is a perfect, NATURAL looking length of wig. Fourth, the coloring of this wig is absolutely beautiful and the transitioning is flawless! This goes from a darker brown down to a very pretty silver grey color! Honestly, if I weren't so afraid of dying my hair I might actually consider this for my real hair. Luckily, I don't have to. I can just wear the wig. Very, very good choice on the coloring. Fifth, the scalp on this wig looks legitimate. I tried taking a picture to share that would show you that it looks like real human flesh. Of course, this would be of a white person...as the scalp is like a beige skin tone. It matched my skin well enough that, like I said, it could pass as real hair. Last, I'd like to mention the one and only issue I've got with this wig. This thing sheds! Honestly, just running my hands through it I did get quite a bit of fall out. I'm not sure if there's a way to prevent this but this isn't the first wig I've seen this happen to. I'm definitely not a stranger to wigs having issues with the hair falling out, so I can't really say this is JUST this wig. Rather just an overall issue if you're intending to purchase this, please keep in mind that there is some shedding involved and may or may not stop after you get the wig worn in. All in all I am SUPER impressed with this wig. It has a real feel and real look to it that I just crave when wearing a wig. While I will still use this for dress up with the kids, I would definitely say this would make a good wig to actually go out on the town with. Lovely wig.
The wig came on time and its very soft to the touch. I recommend brush it a few times before using it, to get out any pieces that are loose. (shed ready) may want to cut a little bit more even and make it look natural. Idk if it's heat resistant or not.
