I have purchased a lot of faux hair buns/extensions/ponytail scrunchy type pieces and I have got to say that this piece is hands down the best one I have ever gotten!<br /><br />The "hair" is beautiful. As with all hair pieces, it is a bit shiny right out of the bag and isn't wearable like that - not if you want it to look real anyhow!. I always start by brushing the hairpiece a bit and adding some dry shampoo to dull the shine a bit and make it look more like my own hair.<br /><br />I purchased this in the long, curly one piece extension - almost like a curly boa. It is long! Too long for everyday use for me, so I did carefully cut about 8-12 inches off of it after I took these photos and tried again. I purchased it in the natural black which was perfectly matched to my own box dye black hair.<br /><br />What I like best about this piece is the versatility of styling. I wrapped it twice around my little nub of a ponytail (I have chin length hair) carefully securing it with bobby pins along the way. If you want this to stay on at all, you are going to need bobby pins and a lot of them!<br /><br />I continued by threading the rest of the extension through what I had already put on and let this drape a bit down the back to create some volume for my headscarf. That's when I realized I had to cut it a bit. I would have had to loop it around twice more to set it in place - but that would have been way too high for everyday use. A special occasion might warrant that much extra volume, but certainly not a day running errands. So cut it I did and it worked perfectly.<br /><br />I highly recommend this product for someone looking for a nice quality hair extension that is easy to use and offers almost endless possibilities!
