This product is amazing! It's soft on my face and produces a great lather with shaving soaps. Oh, it looks like it performs... Top notch! I would definitely recommend this shaving brush to anyone. Since the bristles of the brush are badger hair, I hope all is well for who retrieved the hair... Because we all know that the Honey Badger don't care!!!

Have used this brush for almost 6 months and have enjoyed using it for every shave! The handle provides a nice grip and looks great. The brush is holding up very well and works up the lather nicely. I have a small cup that I use to soak the brunch in steaming hot water while I brush my teeth and by the time I am done the brush is ready to use. I wet down my face, or best after a shower, give the brush a flick to remove the excess water, give the soap three or four swipes and then swirl it onto my face and wow, that hot lather brings a smile to my face every time! May add a few sprinkles of hot water to the tip of the brush once in awhile to make more foam but not often. So much better than applying cold shaving gel! I am very pleased with this brush. The silver tip badger brissils have a nice smooth feel and help to work up the lather quickly. Very happily with this old school way of enjoying my morning shave!

this is only the third brush that I have owned โ so I donโt have much comparison. The brush is very effective in making a nice lather. It shed possibly 8-10 hairs during the first week of use. It did not have a strong smell โ certainly not a wet dog smell. It is attractive and its weight feels good in the hand. BUT: when I was shaking off extra drops of water, it slipped from my hand and fell on the sink porcelain. This cracked the resin which I fixed with superglue. Because this is a damage that I caused, I did not return for credit or write a bad review. But this is a delicate object and not rugged. I think the single 2-3 mm thick screw that attaches the top portion to the bottom is simply not strong enough to offer much mechanical stability. The resin is too brittle to offer much support if you drop it.<br /><br />But if you are careful when you use it, the brush itself is nearly as good as a more expensive $40-60 brush.
