One of the best of the best orange/yellow based reds. Just gorgeous. Can apply lightly like a stain, or build it up a bit more. Love this. I'm sure Lauren Bacall would have appreciated this lipstick.
My current go-to lipstick!
Worth every penny is how I feel about this rich, matte but not dry, health lipstick. The color is a lovely red orange, more like a muted light to medium rust than bright orange red. The vanilla smell and taste is great, and don't let the small case size put you off as it's all lipstick, unlike those w/ big cases. You also don't need to put on more than one coat as it is loaded w/ pigment, and stays on pretty well!
a great gift
I got this for my mom for Christmas, and she really loved it because of the vintage packaging, and of course the terra cotta color of this great lipstick. It should be noted that the color is matte, there is no shine to it. It has a creamy feel to it and stays on well. I highly reccommend this to anyone who wants a great lipstick and loves all things '40's and '50's!!
Finally a red lipstick that works on me!
I love Besame and was even more excited to find this brilliant shade of lipstick! It's perfect on my pale skin tone and provides a smooth, matte finish that lasts for hours. If I want shine, I just layer it with some lip balm. The packaging is even more gorgeous in person.
