Good for cleaning aligners
I ordered this to clean my aligners while I brush my teeth at home. I only use this in the morning and at night (during the day I just rinse out my aligners). This case works for the reason I need it. I would not consider this leak proof unless you make sure that the lid is fully closed. There were a couple of times I went to shake the container and liquid spilled when I thought it was fully closed. I think this would be great for travel if you don't put any liquid in it once packed. I store an extra Orthokey in it to help me remove my aligners and the key fits fine inside when I'm not using it.
Perfect for cleaning my retainers!
I wanted a container that I could sit on my bathroom counter to clean my retainers in. I would usually put them in a coffee cup and clean them that way, but I felt like it was rather gross to walk by and see them sitting in the coffee cup, especially with my husband being a germaphobe.<br /><br />I can clean them in this container, close the container while they're cleaning, and also when I'm finished, I can pour the water out and prop the clear insert up on the back of the container while my retainers dry. Once they are dry (as they will dry on their own) I just life the clear insert off the back and place it, along with my retainers inside the cup for storage. So genius!
