Love it - Favorite One - Right now

This is my favorite body scrub. The sugar chamomile one. I have tried a lot of different ones. One years ago that is no longer on the market was my absolute favorite, which is why this only gets 4 stars. I did get a bad batch recently, which I attribute to either sitting too long in some warehouse or supply chain issues. It has been a little tough to find. I have very sensitive skin & even worse allergies & this does not break me out or set off my allergies. When properly mixed & emulsified, it’s great. It works on my skin the way I want it to. It doesn’t dry my skin out or make it sticky, oily or itchy/flakey. It also doesn’t destroy my shower/tub. It washes politely & completely down the drain & doesn’t stain or send grit everywhere. There is no remaining residue on my skin or my surroundings. I don’t love the smell. It’s a mostly pleasant natural smell, but it took some getting used to. In my opinion, it’s way better than the other 2 products this company makes in this category. They reek to high heaven & make a terrible mess. I still regret using the pink-salt one, the perfume was too strong & awful. The grit was too strong & stained the silicone sealant on my tub. It’s still there. I like this one for all the previously stated reasons, but I don’t love the smell or the tube. The seal on all of there products is strong, which is great for assurances, safety & transport, but it’s also tiny & a bitch to get off in the shower. So, don’t forget to take it off 1st, the way I sometimes do. I usually have to use my teeth & you know how that goes… yeah. The bottle could be a little bigger too. I don’t know what sizing the product would cost, but it would be nice for the consumer. Also, the last inch or 2 of product, in the tube doesn’t always come out. Again it’s the tube’s design & they all work that way. It’s VERY annoying. If they would make the inner nozzle/outlet a little bigger & the “top” a steeper pitch, it would be 100% better. Work with gravity & let me use all the product I pay for please (especially at these prices)! Thanks! Anyway, this is currently my go to scrub. I don’t usually use it on my face, but I have been considering trying it on my scalp, it seems gentle enough. And it dissolves enough. I will add to this review if I do. I have been able to find this product at Sprouts, grocery store as well as on Amazon. I think I have seen it at Natural Grocers & Whole Foods too, but it’s been since before COVID, so not sure. I have never seen a sample product, but if you can find them, I would suggest trying all of them that way - if that works for your needs - before you buy. Depending on quality, which has been wonky the last 3 tubes, I get between 3-9 showers out of 1 tube. The better blended it is, the closer to 6 showers it is. I tend to use a lot. I am generous & I use it on most of my body. I do really like this stuff & can say I would recommend it to someone I know, whose skin care I know about, given the opportunity. It is a natural product, if you are allergic to chamomile tea, do not use this product, ever. If not, it’s, in my opinion, one of the nicest body scrub products out there. I like a lot of Desert Essence products.
