My daughter has 4A hair, and is new to the natural hair life. She detangled her hair using nothing but the brush, and her damp, shoulder length curly hair for a thorough test of the brush itself. It detangled her hair nicely, shedding the bare minimum of hair. The one problem is that curls donโt really stay, and you end up with a brush-out look. The brush is great seeing as it adjusts for different hair types. Itโs definitely a good detangling brush for natural hair.
