I always prime before applying my mascara. I'd never tried Dior primer before and wanted to try it. This product really plumps my lashes and doesn't leave alot of white residue. I know you're not gonna get a full size Dior product for $9. So the product size and price wasn't a problem. Great quality and value!! I'm very pleased!!

Longer lashes

I use this when I really want to thicken my lashes. Sometimes it seems like the product is heavier at the very tip of the applicator and not so much on the bristles. If I had one suggestion to make it would be to either make the bristles a bit wider so that the entire brush makes good contact with the sides of the tube. Other than that, this works well for me.
