I take a swig before bed (with my nose plugged) and about 30 min later take a swig of castor oil and by the time I wake up I feel much better. The purpose is to paralize parasites in your gut so they can no longer attach to tour intestinal wall. I had diarrhea for over a month and can't take antibiotics due to allergies. Pumpkin seed oil really and truly works. The taste is a bit overwhelming, but I'll usually hold my nose and take a drink of something carbonated directly after and it becomes alot more tolerable. I highly recommend this as a natural alternative if you suffer from frequent gut problems.
