It's getting old!
I can hear as well with this one as i could my old Littman that "disappeared" at work. I bought this stethescope some time ago and have been pleased with it up until just recently. The color was great but now is dis-coloring. I'm sure it's from my skin's natural oils as I wear it draped around my neck much of the time. It isn't something that can be cleaned off, I've tried. If you are not a "neck wearer" as I am then you will be very happy with it (or if you choose a darker color, mine is pink). But if you do wear it draped around your neck be prepared to replace it every couple of years due to the discoloration.
