Effective & cat loves it - can't ask for more than that

Ordered this because it's got little round beads on the tips of the wires & is easy to clean. I find wire slicker brushes work best, but they can sometimes hurt sensitive cat skin. The round beads prevent that from happening. With some of the brushes, the cat hair gets down in the wires with no easy way to get it out. One push of the button on the back & the wires retract & easy to pull the hair off. I was very happy to see that all my cats like to be brushed with this (as opposed to some of the brushes I have, they actually despise it). My big Siamese in particular throws himself down on the floor & rolls over onto his back to let his whole underside be brushed, which he had never done before! So I've finally been able to get loads of shedding hair off of him as he rolls around & side to side, totally content to let me brush him as long as it takes. Haven't had to use the small handle comb, my cats are all short-hair & don't get tangles, but it seems to be decent quality as well. Very pleased with this item so far!
