ELF matte shadows are a great bargain.

I have sensitive skin, this does not cause irritation at all. Also, at 50, I worry about powder shadows creasing. However, this goes on smoothly and stays put all day. A variety of colors make it so versatile, I got rid of all my old eyeshadows. Love this product and the company! Matte shades do not shimmer at all, which is what I was looking for.
