Perfect loofa
This is perfect. I threw away all my other loofas, and ordered more of these for myself and for gifts.<br />They are so easy to use especially for doing your back. Must have item.

If you have tried the "poof", the loofa, the back brush or the Japanese oblong bath cloth and had so-so results, you will LOVE this!<br /><br />This is a combination of several good bath elements in one product!<br /><br />1. The "poof" part on one side for exfoliating - Just enough of the "poof" material to exfoliate without being too thick!<br />2. The washcloth part on the other side - this is a very soft, GOOD QUALITY washcloth material with ridges to hold body wash<br />3. Handles! Just the right length for both adults and kids so you can actually wash your back on your own<br />4. Its WASHABLE! Can't do that with a loofa or a regular, round "poof" (they fall apart)<br />5. Because of the material, you will use less body wash-it makes a little go a long ways<br /><br />Looking closely at the construction of this, you can tell its well made with good, solid stitching<br />I think what sold me was that you can put this in the washer. The other bath helpers I've used have ended up being disposable when they get yucky :(<br />You get TWO of these, which is great! The only thing that would be better is if it came in camo fabric for the burly guys! :O<br />I bought this as part of a promotion to test and review, otherwise I might not have even found this!<br />Without a doubt I can highly recommend this bath cloth and am getting a set for both my older mom and my in laws for Christmas! Not a loofah, but still a great wash cloth.
This is a great wash cloth, but it's not a loofah, so the name might be a little misleading to some. A loofah is a natural sponge that's light tan in color and much rougher than this, which is a super soft terrycloth wash cloth on one side and 'bath poof' material on the other. I still like it very much, but didn't buy it expecting a loofah. It's nice and big so I can wash my back pretty easily with it. I'm not quite sure how anyone could keep it flat on their back like the picture shows though. Believe me, I've tried lol. The loops that you hold on to aren't straight across from each other, they're on diagonally opposite corners so the cloth tend to roll up significantly when you use it on your back. I think another reviewer referred to it as 'burrito-ing' which I think describes it perfectly. Regardless of that, it still washes really well, makes a ton of lather and stays soapy fora good long time. It's awesome for washing my feet. I don't have to balance on one foot like a flamingo to clean the bottom of each one. I just lift my foot a little, put this underneath it and use the loops to pull it back & forth. I'm really happy that the package came with 2, so when this one inevitably wears out I'll have another one waiting to take its place.<br /> I did receive a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review, but all opinions are 100 percent my own. I do reviews because I really enjoy doing them and will always give my honest opinions and experiences (positive or negative) with the product I'm reviewing regardless of whether it is discounted or not.ย
Many positives, one negative; would recommend
There are several very good qualities about this product, and one major flaw.<br /><br />As others have stated, this is not a cheaply made product. Stitching is very good, the net material is secured in multiple places, the terry cloth side has plentiful loops and it did not have that icky petroleum factory smell that many items made in China have. It does make a little bit of body wash go a long way; since I often shower twice daily, sometimes I just let it dry during the day and use it morning and evening. I hang it by the handles to dry and this has not appeared to loosen them or uncurl them.<br /><br />Using it wrapped around your hand is a pleasant experience and it feels like you are being scrubbed without being debrided. I also could see this being folded in half vertically & sewn together to make an adorable wet bag for bathing suits. Using the net side as the exterior (looks very ruffly) and the terry-cloth as the interior, it would do the job admirably. I may use the second one for that.<br /><br />A great part of the Loofa's construction is how well it gets along with other items in the washing machine. I have several Japanese washcloths and they are very very rough (which is part of their appeal). However, I can't wash these cloths in the machine because they stick to other items and rough up their fabric.<br /><br />The flaw: the handles are only at opposite corners. When you roll it across your back it does not spread out like shown on the model, it rolls into a burrito like shape. This means you are only washing your back with 1/3 of the product's surface, and the other material is flapping around.<br /><br />Additionally, after just 4 uses, it has permanently formed itself to that burrito shape. Even after being washed & air dried, it retained it's new rolled up shape. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the burrito-ing.<br /><br />*I received this item for free in return for my honest, unbiased opinion.
