Nice and thick consistency

I am an all natural type of gal. I am wheat and sugar-free and use essential oils throughout every single day. I won't even review those, I will only use doTerra or Young Living as I am very picky about the quality standards. My point is, I strive to remove toxins from my world. My husband, my kids, my pets and myself. I certainly am not perfect at it, but it is a large part of my life and I try to keep it that way. I tried this product because I am a fan of clay. Bentonite and Aztec clay are very wonderful for oily skin and my teenage daughter and I love them. I have never tried white clay, so I was excited to give this a whirl! This states that it is natural, listing only 5 ingredients. However, one of them is "fragrance" and it doesn't say what kind. It is VERY strong and "flower-y". It lost a star because of that, as we should know exactly what the scent is, especially for those with allergies. It also came with "cellophane" wrapped around it, shown in the pictures. Not shrink-wrap....CELLOPHANE. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning. Also, several words are misused on the label as well as this product listing itself. I am rather anal about that though, and some may not evennotice. I didn't drop it a star though, as I know the origin of the company is Morocco and language translation is never perfect. The star-rating system says that 4 stars means "I like it". Not love it, not just OKAY, but "like it". And I do. It has a smooth, creamy texture and goes on nice and thick. A little goes a long way. The white clay does what the other clays do, and they absorb the oils and impurities from the pores. I tried this on one side of my nose and cheek for purposes of this review, so I could see the difference in my pores afterwards. They did, in fact, shrink a tad and they were cleaner and less clogged after the first use. I would recommend using this 2-3 times/week to start, then 1-2 per week for maintenance. If your face becomes too dry, however, make sure you use an all natural balancing moisturizer such as jojoba oil. I have oily skin, so having the alcohol as an ingredient doesn't bother me. You may want to try a skin patch test first, if you have sensitive skin. I will come back and update after a few months, but for now...4 stars. Nice product, decent price, does what it says. Not the cheapest out there, but certainly less expensive than any salon or beauty supply. It also has a money-back guarantee, and that's a huge plus for me! I always rely on reviews when making most purchases, especially big ticket items, all natural products and supplements and baby items. These things are incredibly important as we are putting them into our bodies and around our precious children. I need to live with myself and wake up with a clear conscience every day. It is not worth it to me to waste my time, as well as yours, AND/OR to violate the TOS in the reviewing program, just to save a few bucks. Seriously, it won’t make me rich, either way! Smells good and softens my skin

I like this white clay brightening mask quite a bit. Its a nice thick consistency and very smooth in texture so it's very easy to apply. It doesn't dry right away so you can take your time applying. The scent is very nice. (It does have fragrance, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to anything with a scent.) It's not overwhelming once on the skin, just slightly noticeable. I was wondering if this was going to dry to a tight feel on my skin or stay 'wet' feeling but sure enough right at the 15 minute mark my face started to feel tight and the mask had that paper-y dry feel! The jar does state to leave it on for 15-20 minutes then rinse off so their timeline was spot on! I rinsed it off and my skin felt comfortable. Not tight or dry or itchy. I followed with my moisturizer and my skin was smooth and soft. I've used it 3 times now since receiving it (with 2 days of a break in between each use) and my skin feels and looks softer and smoother. I have also noticed it has dried up some blemishes too.
