Good the product
and the instruction manual was very easy to follow
I've always been intrigued on how these brush style straighteners work. I finally got the opportunity to try one myself. It came really well packaged, and the instruction manual was very easy to follow. I took it out of the plastic wrap and plugged it in. Usually, I set my heated hair tools to a higher temperature because my hair can be stubborn. I plugged it in and turned up the temperature as high as it would go. A screen appears on the handle telling the temperature. I let the brush heat up and I noticed the lights in my bathroom flickering, so I'm not sure if this uses a lot of power or what- but that was kind of odd. I proceeded and loosely brushed my hair with a regular brush. Next, I put the straightener up to my head and began straightening. The brush did work, but it took an awfully long time to do my entire head and I don't have curly hair or anything like that. I feel like my regular straightener would have had that job done in less than half of that time. It kept tangling in my hair too and pulled quite a bit of hair out. It did straighten and tame my hair in the end. It was really hard to figure out how I was going to rate this. I think it's more of a 3.5 than a 4, but I don't totally hate it. And I would use it regularly if I didn't already have a straighter. What it boils down to: It would not be my first option and it takes a longer time, but it does work.<br /><br />Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
