The only mask following recent research

Like other folks here, I have a popular eye mask and full-sinus mask, both microwaveable, and I grew tired of the hassle for daily log-term use. I also worried about potential eye damage from the inconsistent heating temps. Spent an evening skimming medical research for heated eye compresses, and found one primary recommendation: to target 45 C (113 F) degrees max, maintaining a constant temp throughout use.<br /><br />This mask is the only one I've found that satisfies that temp and consistency to provide positive results without risk of eye damage if used daily. I prefer the highest heat setting (109F) for 20-30 mins nightly, with a folded tissue on my eyes to trap the released oils. I also bought a 6-ft USB extension cable that allows me to stretch out more comfortably. Overall, seems a rather expensive purchase for what it is, but actually the only game in town and certainly effective. If it doesn't hold up for at least a year, I'll be back with an update.
