Works great for our toenail and fingernail needs.

[[VIDEOID:7e3241b19b2a32395c9925af72bef3d1]] This nail drill is lightweight, and has a power cord that I measured to be 6-feet, 3-1/2 inches long. Note: no adapter in included for the USB end of the cord. I had to provide my own adapter in order to plug this power cord into the outlet. Inserting a drill bit into the nail drill takes a little bit of effort, as does removing the bit from the drill. Once I have the bit properly seated in (i.e. I insert the bit into the drill, leaving 3-mm space, as shown in picture #6 at the upper left corner of the product description page), and start using the drill, the bit stays securely in place. I like being able to increase / decrease the speed at which the drill bits rotate, using the speed control on the power cord. Some of us have thin nails, so they use a slower speed so that the bit doesn't put too much pressure on the nail. At its highest speed, this nail drill (along with the mandrel drill bit and sanding band) can reduce the thickness of our fungus toenails of our big toes. The various drill bits (11 in total) provide enough variety to use on the many different fingernails and toenails of our family members. Lastly, the user manual has excellent diagrams to describe the parts of the nail drill and some of the drill bits, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to operate this nail drill and the drill bit. Overall, this nail drill and its drill bits works well for our fingernail and toenail needs

Great Value!

I have been very happy with my order of the USB Nail File Machine. It works well and is easy to use with the USB cord. I often use this with a battery pack. The accessories have served well and after several months of use are still in good shape. It does great for my nails, but I also use this on my feet. It makes my self-mani and pedis quick and easy. The handle is easy to grip. Speed is quick, but not so much that it's difficult to control. I find that this is a good nail drill for personal use, but I wouldn't recommend it for multiple users as it does start to get warm in my hand when I am finishing on myself. Basic nail drill. Plastic body with decent power/speeds. Good price/value.

This nail drill has a plastic body, which contributes to it's light weight. I was actually surprised by how light the drill felt in my hand. Not that other drills, including metal bodied versions, are overly heavy, but this one has to be one of the lightest nail drills that I've handled. This product does have the usb power cord with a control 'box'. The control box has a switch for off, and forward/reverse and a dial to adjust the speed of the drill. This seems to be the current control system for most nail drills. So, if you've used other recent nail drills, you'll be right at home with this unit. Ease of operation and handling makes this a desirable nail drill for beginners and more advanced users. In fact, intermediate and advanced users might like this in their resource kits, due to it low weight and competent performance. The company does warn about overheating. It suggests that operating sessions should be limited to within 20 minutes. Then let it cool down before resuming operation. This should not alarm potential customers. This caveat is often issued by other nail drill products. Common sense will let you know when the handle feels hot. And, in general, don't leave the drill running unnecessarily. If you're going to not use the drill, power it off. This will allow it to cool down, and prolong the life of the motor. Also, if for some reason you need to reverse the direction of the drill rotation, let it full stop and 'rest' for a few seconds, before revving up in the opposite rotation direction. This is true of power drills, too. A sudden change of direction could damage a motor. While it comes with a usb power cord, a usb power plug is not included. This is disappointing. I do not advise using the drill close to a laptop or computer. You don't want errant dust to have a chance to enter these devices. Instead, use the usb power plugs that are used to charge cell phones. At this point, many people have spare usb plugs of this sort. Included with this drill are 2 cases with various drill bits, and sanding belts. They are generic, but decent quality. This product has the feel of a basic nail drill set. It is very reasonably priced for it's market niche. I think they've minimized the extra accessories to contain costs. Attached are photos to show real world images of the product, with a ruler for size reference. The nail drill has a nice piano black finish. The nail drill is a competent performer. It's great for packing into a travel kit, due to it's weight and effectiveness. It earns a solid 4 star rating, with a moderately high level recommendation.
