Easy to Replace
This was a great find! My electric toothbrush was not acting up to par and so I looked in to buying a new one. Turns out new ones were $100+ . Found this replacement motor for about 1/4 the cost and thought I'd give it a try. VERY simply to replace. Just need a good fine tipped soldering iron or pen to disconnect and reconnect two soldered wires. Took me about ten minutes. Toothbrush is as good as new now.

Fast arrival via Prime. Minimalist packaging (all that was needed imo. I needed to apply much more pressure than I expected to disassemble. The way the pieces went back together was minimally confusing, but if you slow down the video pretty easy to do. There's a little tab that interlocks when you fit the motor module to the control module, also tabs on the rubber cushion piece that sits on the front of the motor module The only tool you need is a soldering pencil. You do not need to be god's gift to soldering --a touch and the wires come off,, a touch and they stick back down. I did not need to add extra solder<br /><br />Great value: to replace the toothbrush is $100 plus. The part looked identical to the original. So for less than $30 you have a tooth brush that works like new. Mine had become a wimpy brusher and did almost nothing but make the humming noise. There is a you tube from someone else that shows how to disassemble the motor module and fix it it you have the time and the inclination. A bit fussy to do but if you screw it up this will be available to back it up. I'd encourage you to watch the YouTube if you question your ability to do this.<br /><br />I was very happy with the whole deal! my teeth are too!<br />great product!
400 dollars worth of toothbrushes fixed!!!!
Have 2 Diamond clean units and this fixed the problem on both of them. Little to no vibration between the two of them.
