I was a bit skeptical when I bought this product, but it works like a charm. I have used it thrice since I bought it. It was a gift for my hubby. His feet needed some serious work. It took almost a half hour for me to complete both his feet, and both of us were surprised by the results. He couldn't stop looking at his feet, it was hilarious. My feet weren't in such a bad condition. So I did not use the coarse file. The results are awesome. I certainly would recommend it to anyone who wants a soft shiny feet. That was exactly how my hubby's feet became after the first session. You shouldn't rush through the process. It uses 4 AA batteries which is not included. I don't think this can be used while showering, because the instructions says that you can wash the file, but not the hand held device. It does the job it claims. I love it!!
