This has been my first time doing my own nails. Usually,I am TERRIBLE at it with regular nail polish. I have only used/done this twice, having first used it June 13th/14th, then again this passed July 2nd/3rd. I need to buy a nail primer to handle the premature lifting, and I will update my review:<br /><br />I use UV-LED base and top coats from another brand. I just wish they were all a bit thicker like in the salons to reduce the amount of coats I need to get my desired deep-opaque red color, as they have pictured, and thick durable clear shellac layer. I, personally, apply about 4 or 6 coats of this to get the color in my photo (it was really sunny that day, so it looks like a brighter red).<br /><br /> Now that I am comfortable, I am also moving forward with getting a UV or UV-LED hybrid lamp with significantly more wattage (Either 36 or 48W) with UV gloves. I got a nice inexpensive mini 6W LED one to test waters and it has worked well; but I would like to cut curing time down significantly. I like my nails to be as hard, lasting, and shiny as they are weeks after my salon gel manicures, so that is my goal! Will Update after I use a primer and UV lights.<br /><br />TLTR:<br />Pros: Color as pictured, good dry time, consistent texture for smooth application.<br /><br />Cons: Thinner than desired, but great after 4 to 6 coats.
