Extremely helpful to pelvic floor for labor prep!
I can't wait to update my review once I do actually go into labor. However, for now I will say this is a well made german product that gives peace of mind. I have read the directions and use it accordingly, have been now for about 2.5 weeks. I am already at an 8 in cm at 37 weeks!
If You Can Get Your Hands on One of these - DO IT
This product is a WONDERFUL invention. Unfortunately the FDA has made it ILLEGAL to buy in the USA. However I managed to find a way around this by purchasing on another popular bidding website.<br /><br />It WORKS. I am small, 5 feet and 1 inch tall, and I was very concerned about giving birth to my first child, as both my mother and sister had SEVERE tearing with their births. I got the Epi-no, and used it daily, and managed to get to a 4" diameter before my daughter was born (it was uncomfortable, even painful, but it so worth it!). I had a home birth with a midwife, in a birthing tub, and I didn't tear except for a tiny bit that didn't need any repair/stitching. The feeling of my baby's head coming out was not a shock, but felt like something I was familiar with already because of this thing. The contractions on the other hand, were a surprise! haha. Seriously though, this thing is a Godsend. Please, FDA, America... let our women have this wonderful product and help prevent/ease the hundreds of thousands of torn mamas every year from delivery!

You guys are godsends. Thank you so much for making the Epi-No. I am skinny and small-framed. And, I tear very easily at childbirth because my husband's side of the family are giants. Thank you so much for the super speedy recovery after my heaviest baby was born, unlike with my other deliveries where the tears took months to heal.
