This gel liner does everything I've been searching for, and I have a collection of missed expectations that I can now toss. This one is long-lasting, glides on with a built in thin brush applicator, can be put on my lower lid, does not crease at the corners of my eyes, and comes off with a squirt of eye makeup remover and a cotton ball.

I have searched high and low and tried handfuls of eye liners from expensive ones found in Sephora to grocery store cosmetic aisle brands.<br />Here's what I wanted out of an eye liner:<br /><br />1. Most importantly I wanted one that would stay on my lower lid "water line" without pooling in the corners of my eyes within 4 hours.<br />2. An eye liner that goes on smoothly and easily<br />3. An eye liner that is black but that doesn't have any sparkles in it<br />4. One that stays all day but doesn't require a nuclear reaction and scrubbing to remove<br /><br />I finally got all those things in this gel eye pencil!! It is the PERFECT eye liner for water lining. The very first day it arrived, I decided to test it out hard core. I put it on that morning at 7:30am and left on a hike in the mountains ascending 3,000ft in elevation over the course of 3 miles and back. I sweat like a pig, had sunglasses on half the time and off half the time, was wiping my face, you name it! I was absolutely in shock when I got home at 3:30pm that afternoon to look in the mirror and find that my waterline look nearly PERFECT! Unheard of. I'm so mad at myself for not taking an after picture, but I was just so tired and dirty that I forgot about it. Take my word for it though, this stuff went the distance BIG TIME!! It also came off very easily. I just put a little of my Neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover on a q tip and rubbed very gently and it came right off. WOW!<br /><br />I really am blown away by this product, especially after trying so many and being disappointed. I was beginning to think there wasn't an eye liner out there that would really stay on my water line all day but I found it and I hope you found it too! I wish there was somewhere I could find this locally, but I've looked and haven't seen it anywhere yet. Thank goodness there is Amazon! And thank goodness for the people at Essence who have perfected eye liner! I can't recommend this enough. I did NOT receive this item free or at a discount

Great Eyeliner!
I can see why people dislike the slight smudging throughout the day, but honestly, this is the best eyeliner I've bought. Goes on easily without irritating your eyes, and does not feel sticky when you blink. No irritation, no pain, no smearing. I cried four times in one day and it didn't smear at all! Definitely water proof, although I don't have a huge problem taking it off at the end of the day or fixing mistakes. I would highly recommend at least trying it.

This is the BEST liner I've ever used!! It stays fresh and in place all day. It goes on super smooth and is easy to apply. I just love it!!
Finally found my daily go to liner after last one discontinued.
I bought this at a major box retailer with a bullseye logo. So completely unexpectedly good. I will not be buying another one until they discontinue this. Truly waterproof. Applies very smoothly and is creamy but does not have a propensity to smear like most others. I apply my liner on my eyelid line and they normally last a few hours at most there. This hits the 4-6 hour mark easily for looking perfect still and goes passably from 6-8. I do not reapply for normal work days but a late meeting I might real quick.<br /><br />They nailed this. I came to Amazon to find other colors to try out.
