It worked for the first week
Iโve used it now for a week and a half. This eyelash curler worked so nicely the first week (I couldnโt even believe it)...and then it stopped heating up as much (even when having it at the highest level). I thought it may have been due to the mascara I was using, but even after cleaning it, it no longer curls even by holding it for longer than the recommended time. I was a bit disappointed.<br /><br />**UPDATE** - please make sure to change the batteries quiet often, even if the light turns on when turning on. If the light is on but not heating as much, itโs time for new battery. I had to change mine just shy of 2 weeks after using it and went back to heating as when I first used it.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it does a very good job at curling my lashes. I don't have to worry about my lashes being pulled or ripped off with this.

This ACTUALLY works but there are some things to note:
I'm shocked that this thing actually works. You put on a coat of mascara, wait for it to dry, then apply the heated curler to lashes. It doesn't look like it would work, but it does. The only bummer is that the batteries last for about a nano-second. After reading the reviews, I followed the suggestion to only have the battery in the curler when the curler is actually on. I don't leave the curler on long, just to preserve the battery. The first battery died after a few uses. The second battery seems to be doing a little better, but I've only been using it for a few weeks and I don't use it every day - maybe 4 days a week. So stock extra batteries, take them out between uses, and don't leave the curler on for long and you should have a killer experience with this thing (hence, the five-star review)!
Great product after I figured it out!!
I have loved all things makeup since I can remember. I have spent years on perfecting my eyelashes. From gluing my eyes together with false eyelashes to chemical conjunctivitis from lash extensions. My eyes are just too sensitive for many products. I have always hated eyelash curlers so when I read about a heated eyelash curler, I immediately went to amazon to research. When the product arrived I read the instructions and was very confused. After trial and error, this may be the best product ever for lashes. Here is how I got great results:<br />Heat up your curler on setting 2<br />Put on one coat of mascara and let dry<br />Take the curler and press against lashes for 10 seconds (make sure you have the heating element against your lashes)<br />Your mascara will melt and when it dries, your lashes will stay in curled position<br />Once you are satisfied with curl and mascara has hardened. Apply more coats of mascara until you have desired amount.<br />It truly is a great product.

I wasn't sure what to expect. Wasn't sure these would work. Let me say... I'm impressed! This works so well! I am shocked! Even my 2 year old noticed. And I mean, she is two. I never would have expected her to notice. Lol! This curls better than any lash curler I have ever used!
