These face paints were easy to use and lots of fun!

I bought these face paints for a party I was having for my grandchildren and some friends. This was my first experience with doing any sort of face painting. I had my son in law help me with the painting, my daughter helped as well and the children all loved it. They really got into painting themselves and each other as well, once we were done with the official painting. The paints were simple to use, by wetting your brush and dabbing it on the paint, then applying it to the skin. It dried fairly quickly, but not too fast to use it. I think that part of it was well worked out. The colors were bright and cheerful. I was a little concerned because my grandchildren not only covered themselves with the paints, they painted up my furniture as well. I was afraid that my ivory leather couch might never be the same again. Fortunately, the paints cleaned up very easily with just water, there was no harm done. The table and chairs were easy to clean as well. I'm very glad for that. I wanted to post some photos here that were taken at the party, so that you could see the paints on the kids, but my daughter forbade me to post the children's photos online here. Maybe I will be able to get some other photos later done on someone that it's OK for me to share. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to have a lot of fun with the kids for a very small amount of money. It was well worth it for the joy it brought to the occasion.

Works well, easy to wash off.

This is pretty good face paint. I was looking for something non toxic, and not oily for my kids for Halloween. Pros: -It goes on pretty well. It took me a while to figure out you need to add water to it! I thought you could just dip the paint brush in and go.. nope! its kind of like painting with a watercolor palette. -It washes off easily without residue. Cons: - the palette is made of cheap plastic. It would have been nice if it came in a case or something more sturdy to withstand yearly use. Overall: I would recommend.

Face Painting for amateurs

NIce selection of colors and very important to girly girls GLITTER! I personally love the simple instructions on common animal face designs and the non toxic paints. These went on very easily and dried to a nice non greasy finish. The included stencils were especially helpful because I am no artist. The colors dried bright and pretty true to the palette. This kit is great for parents like me, non artists that just want to add a fun face paint experience for a party or to make a regular day fun. I can use on my nieces and nephews without worrying about getting in trouble with their parents as well. In my experience there was no skin irritation, it stayed on well and it was easily washed off. This was offered at a promotional price for a truthful review.

lots of fun for kids of all ages!

This Wacky Arts Face Painting Kit is a great price for a really nice set of face paint. The paint covers really well and the colors are bold and bright. We used it at my daughter's birthday party and the kids were all so excited to get painted. I like that the kit comes with sponges and brushes so everything you need is right there for you. There is a good selection of colors and the silver and gold glitter are great for adding some finishing touches to your paint designs. The stencils are perfect for doing small designs and great to use on little hands or arms. The only con I can find is that since the colors are close together, you need to be careful loading the color on a sponge to do a full coverage face. The paint comes off with a baby wipe or soap/water. At first, we were using a oil based cleanser to take it off and it wasn't going anywhere with lots of scrubbing...once we realized our mistake, it came off easily. I received this item at a discount for my open, honest, and unbiased opinion.
