This ZACCER facial hair remover is a little electric razor except it's powered by a single AA battery. I was able to remove peach fuzz and it does a good job on beard chin stubble & errant ear hair as well. If you are on blood thinners it can be tricky business shaving off ear hair or stubble in chin dents. So, not just for women. Likely the blades are new & sharp right now, but shaving was painless.<br /><br />I noticed that the shave was not as close as when I use my manual razor, but good enough. This portable device can come in handy if you keep it in your purse/tote and need to perform a daily facial hair removal ritual if you are on a long car/plane trip, in the hospital, etc. It will pass TSA inspection for a carry on item while a regular safety razor may be disallowed. Great idea!
Good little shaver
One of the trials of growing older is a fuzzy face, so I appreciate the gentle way this shaver attacks that fuzz, whether it's soft and peachy, or stiff where the hair has gone white. No nicks, no burn, no discomfort, just a light buzz, and the hair is gone. Sometimes it takes a couple of passes, but it gets the job done. And I love the light that lets me see more clearly where the hair is or isn't. Well worth the money in my opinion. Runs on a single AA battery.
Compact, Quiet and Works Well
I selected this little hair remover/shaver for my wife, to replace a trimmer she had simply worn out over time. This trimmer is a bit different than many of the others I have seen of its type which look more like mascara applicators. After one use, my wife is very pleased with it.<br /><br />This trimmer is similar to a rotary shaver that men use to shave (except one head instead of three) and is similar in size to a glue stick. It runs on a single AA battery and is relatively quiet.<br /><br />After figuring out how to use it, my wife trimmed a single hair and was pleased, and then did something that really surprised me โ she used it to dry shave her whole leg. It did a surprisingly good job and actually left her leg smooth, but it took a really long time to finish. This is absolutely not the job for which this little trimmer was designed, but apparently it will work in a pinch.<br /><br />Compared to other trimmers she has used, this one is very gentle and when itโs turned on it doesnโt sound like itโs laboring like some of the others do.<br /><br />Overall, this is a decent little hair trimmer, designed for facial hair. Itโs small, quiet and works well.

Works good
Totally painless, needs a battery, but works as it should
As much as I hate to admit it, getting close to 50 brings lots of unpleasant changes and some great ones. One of the ridiculous things is suddenly discovering random hairs on my face. Tweezing is certainly effective, but takes forever and is tiresome.<br /><br />This is the first little shaver of this type I've used. It needs a single AA battery that is not included. It's reasonably quiet when running, has a little light and is easy to hold. It is completely painless as advertised - this actually shaves rather than ripping hair out like those epilator things. It works well and I don't really have any complaints.
