Great choice if you want to try a synthetic brush
The brush is very soft and feels good on the face. I like the handle. No issues with shedding. It works better with softer soaps and creams. Not that you can't use it with harder soaps, you just have to work harder to build a good lather. For harder soaps, my brush of choice is my Omega 10049 boar brush, which has a good stiff knot.<br /><br />If you want to try a synthetic, this would be an excellent choice.
FANTASTIC "1st TIMERs" BRUSH
I am new to this type of shaving. Did some research - all the different types/grades of badger hair, etc. Decided, based upon Amazon reviews, to give this manmade brush a try. Good decision. For this rookie, this brush is perfect - works up a great lather, has not lost any hairs, there is no odor, and purchased for an excellent price! BTW, if you are debating about using a brush - go for it. Makes a tremendous difference is how close a shave you will get, plus makes the experience more enjoyable. Now trying different shave creams, which is also fun. Highly recommend this brush, especially for 1st timers like myself!
