I was a little worried that my gua sha would arrive broken but mine arrived safely! Nobody wants to receive a broken gift, right?<br />This was my sisterโs review after using the gift for a few days:<br />I used this in the morning on my face and neck after my usual moisturizing routine and red light therapy. What I have found is that, using firm but comfortable pressure and motions that follow the contours of the face and neck it wakes your facial muscles and promotes circulation. I have also found that, when I find an uncomfortable pressure point and concentrate on in with the most appropriate part of the gua sha, I can relieve some of the discomfort. what's more, It is smooth and pleasing with no sharp edges. Be careful not to drop it as it can break because it's the real jade stone instead of serum. It came very nicely packaged. Highly recommend!!!

The aventurine/jade in the massage roller and gua sha differ in terms of coloration. However, it does not detract from the overall quality and attractiveness of the set. The presentation further lifts the value as a gifting option.<br />The gua sha has a nice thickness, and has a good degree of polishing. This creates a shiny and very smooth surface. The contour has smooth rounding, with clean lines. Inspection of the heart shaped gua sha found no defects or flaws. Happily, there are not scratches or nicks to be found on the aventurine gua sha.<br />The massage roller has features associated with premium level products. It has the metal collar/ring on the metal axle/arm where it meets the stone roller. This is a nice aesthetic touch.<br />An important aspect, which isn't a cosmetic affect, is the plastic grommet that acts as a bearing between the metal arm/axle and the stone rollers. This plastic piece facilitates a quiet and smooth rolling action; without this grommet, there's a good possibility of noticeable squeaking and a 'rough' rolling motion. Of equal import, the grommet protects the aventurine and the metal arm from direct contact, and avoids erosion of both parts.<br />The set matches the description and images in the product details. I appreciate that the company is upfront about the stone being aventurine (it is often called Autralian or Indian Jade, due to the appearance, but is actually part of the quartz family). Many companies use the jade classification to enhance the credentials of the product. It's not deceptive or misleading. Anyway, glad to see the company provide an honest account of the materials.<br />Attached are photos to show real world images, with a ruler for size reference.<br />Based on the quality and initial impressions, this massage roller and gua sha set earns a 4.5 - 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.

This is a beautiful set of nice sturdy jade stones. I've been looking at these elsewhere, and on Sephor.a they run upwards of $60. WHat a steal to find these on here They are soft and cool. I like to put a mask under my eyes and then use the flat tool pressed on them. It probably does nothing but it makes me feel indulged.
