France Luxe Basic Side Comb - Nacro Red

Excellent side combs with a some color

While I prefer Grip-Tuth side combs, I wanted something with a little flair, so I decided to try these. Like all France Luxe products, the combs are made well, but pricey. They hold my hair very well. I have medium-to-thin straight hair, and these combs stay put. The color is pretty much as pictured. Like all of the France Luxe Nacro colors, there is some variation in the color that gives the comb a nice sheen (think Mother-of-Pearl, only in color and very subtle).<br /><br />For the price, I don't know that I would recommend these combs. I specifically wanted some red and was willing to shell out for them. They don't have quite the give that I like in the Grip-Tuth combs, but those don't have any design or flair on them. That being said, these combs hold very well - they are just a tad stiffer than Grip Tuths, but they are far superior to anything you would buy in a grocery/drug store. I expect they will last a long time.<br /><br />As in the past, when I ordered three products from France Luxe, I got a free gift. In this case, it was a substantial one. Thanks!
