France Luxe Scalloped Volume Barrette - Nacro Coral

A little pricy, but worth it -- the color and design are beautiful, and the barrette is great for thick hair

I don't know why Made in France barrette fixings are so superior to anything made in the United States -- they certainly look the same and mechanically, they function the same, but for some reason, the French barrettes are just a whole lot better. They don't pull or catch my hair, they don't stretch out of shape, they don't break and bend. I know this is a lot of $$ to spend on a barrette when you can get one for a fraction of this price at your corner drug store, but these France Luxe barrettes are worth it. This coral colored scallop design is beautiful, and the barrette hold a lot of hair. This is definitely for thick hair. France Luxe also makes boule style barrettes for fine hair -- so if you don't have a thick mop, I would check out the other France Luxe designs. These are expensive for what they are, but they're beautiful and long-lasting. And they work, always important in a barrette. I can put this barrette in my hair and it stays put all day.
