Nice case, fits Nexus 5, but scrapes up easily

I received this case just the other day. I have the Nexus 5 & this case fits snugly around my phone so that the phone doesn't move around while in the case.<br /><br />The case covers just enough of the front so that one can hold the phone and still touch all important buttons.<br /><br />All ports to phone have properly sized holes in case. Pictures taken with the camera with the case on have come out clear and blemish free.<br /><br />I was surprised that the thickness of the case seemed to be more than I imagined initially, so I can say fairly confidentially that it will protect the phone as well as make it a bit cuter.<br /><br />When I received this product, I was slightly concerned at first, thinking that I may have received a defective case, until I looked closer and noticed that there is a very fine film placed over the front of the case. Once removed, the case looks much better. I can see how some might miss this and keep the film on thinking their case is 'peeling.'<br /><br />I have downgraded this to 4 stars for two reasons;<br /><br />1) The case was the right price for me at $2.99 plus free shipping, however, one must bear in mind that it is being shipped from Hong Kong. My issue was that the seller never updated the status after 'Your item is being shipped.' Therefore, it was anyone's guess as to how long it was going to take to get to me. It is not OK for the seller to put an arbitrary future date several weeks ahead, then neglect to update their client's status. That is just bad business.<br /><br />2) After general use for two days with the case on, I seem to have collected a surprising amount of scratches on the case. I would expect to see this after a couple of months, but not two days. This leaves me with the knowledge that you always get what you pay for.<br /><br />After using this case on my Nexus 5 for a couple of days, I can say that I am quite happy to have a case that is cute, functional and cheap. Since it was such a great price, I may be looking to purchase another one to switch out for the days when I'm not in the mood for blue with white polka dots.
