super practical
Bought this as soon as we had offical orders in hand. Read it cover to cover several times. Makes way more sense when you are actually in Yokosuka. I keep this with me whenever I go out. we reference it almost daily. It is the most practical guide to help me find things. Great directions and advice. I recommend it to everyone I know that gets stationed here.

Great asset
I bought this book before moving to Yokosuka last November. It is dogeared and beat up now, but well used. It was a comfort to have before arriving, and has provided us with great ideas for outings.

Never leave home without it!
I first learned of this book while doing research on PCSing to Yokosuka. Bought the book before we left the states and it has become a permanent fixture in my bag. The book has put some of my nerves at ease by knowing little things like which restaurants have English menus and what stores carry what merchandise. My family and I have begun highlighting the book on places we have gone and places we want to go. I recommend this book to anyone coming to Yokosuka!

Discovered this after perusing Japanbases.com. Bought before finding out we would be headed to Atsugi not Yokosuka. I read anything I was interested in and passed it on to someone going to be stationed there.
