Garnier Fructis Concentrated Survivor Gel- Strong 06-5 Oz Size

This is the GEL version (red cap), NOT the PUTTY version (black cap)

This is nothing like the Fructis Survivor PUTTY, which is the black cap. This is the GEL version. But this gel does the job pretty close to as good as the putty. The difference for me is the application on my hair. Using the putty I would try and put it on my hair when it was slightly damp, but with the gel, I try to get my hair dry as much as possible. I was thrilled to see this product on Amazon because I haven't seen it on store shelves in many years (almost 10, I believe). I am wondering if this product is just being sold because Garnier found some old stock they need to get rid of. So I bought 5 of these because Garnier apparently loves to discontinue their good products (as in the case of their Survivor Putty [black cap version]). Hopefully I can survive (lol pun intended) for a couple more years with my 5 pack until I can find an alternative or if (wishing!) Garnier brings back the Survivor Putty.<br /><br />Garnier, BRING BACK THE SURVIVOR PUTTY!!!!!!!!
