Gel beads are very pleasant for a headache, and lightweight 3D sleeping mask is great for travel
My mom had a gel mask similar toย this in the 70s when I was a kid, and I loved using it. It turns out, I still do. I like the addition of the gel beads vs loose gel. If you like a bit of pressure around your eyes when you have a headache, this is nice. It's especially nice for allergy/sinus headaches in particular, where the combination of mild weight and cool temperature is especially soothing. It's best if it's coming right out of the fridge, but it's even pleasant and cool feeling at room temperature, assuming your room isn't super hot. The gel mask has eye holes so you can see through it, but itย you want the cool part directly over your eyes, you can just shift it down a bit.<br /><br />The sleeping mask is lightweight and packable, but still 3d shaped so it blocks light effectively without being too tight, and it doesn't press your eyes and smear your mascara or mash your eyelashes. The shaping is from a thin foam base, not unlike a padded bra, only much thinner (and obviously smaller). It can be used over the gel mask or on its own, and does a good job blocking light--not as effective as the bigger ones, but better for travel, because it's less bulky.ย <br /><br />My daughter thinks it looks creepy, an added bonus.
Nice mask
I will use this when my eyes and head are hurting, and it definitely make it feel better. The other thing I love about this is the sleep mask. I have used a lot of different ones, and this one really helps to block out the light, without being uncomfortable. I take my sleep mask with me when I travel, it really works well!
