Great kit!
Love it!
If you have the patience and buy a gel manicure kit, itโs very easy to do this at home. I love this product. Iโm not very girly to begin with and Iโm able to perform my own gel manicures and save money now. I actually cut the little pads in half to get more use before Iโll have to buy cotton balls to use nail polish remover.
Nail saver!
I've been doing at-home gel nails for about two years now. I started because I have no patience for regular or even faux-gel (no light) polish to dry, but I like the look and durability of gel. Also going to the salon regularly to get my nails done/redone is not in the budget.<br /><br />However, I had the worst luck with removing the polish. Once an edge starts to come loose I pick (even though I know it's terrible) leading to a lot of damage. Even buffing the polish down and using pure acetone and smart gel polish remover I couldn't get it to come off without tearing up my nails. I tried the tin foil method, I tried soaking for ages, I even tried buffing almost all the way down to my natural nails, and none of the methods were effective.<br /><br />Then I finally broke down and bought this cheap kit - I am so impressed! I love the little polish remover press bottle, the cuticle clippers, and cuticle pusher. I used the nail clips with regular cotton pads (the included pads, while cool, dried almost instantly and therefore defeated the purpose) and sat for 15 minutes. Then I used the gel polish remover scraper and the polish came right off, without any damage.<br /><br />*Some older reviews mentioned theirs coming in a gift bag or something? Mine did not, came in a cardboard box.<br /><br />Thank you, thank you to this set for allowing me to continue my at-home gel manicures without destroying my natural nails underneath!!

Only issue was the utensils werenโt very sharp for good use.
Does the job
Exactly what I needed!! The only complaint I have is the files are paper thin. They bend and are supposed to be hard files. But everything else in the box is exactly what I needed!
