I may never use clippers again!
These files are great to shape nails and keep them the length you want. The foot file works well too, but the grain is a little finer than I expected. Great for maintaining, but is you have serious calluses it may not be enough.
Price is good for what you get
Price is good for what you get. Glass nail files are beautiful and though the containers aren't anything special, I do feel that they give some protection to the glass nail files for transporting in your purse or for travel.

I first found out about glass nail-files years ago when my mom was given a set as a gift. I loved them then, and I love this set I bought for myself. If you have a friend or family member that would enjoy a nice set of manicure files, these are the best.
Never Going Back to Emery Boards
I have used emery boards, and those foam nail files for 40 years. I hate the way they feel. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. These files are unbelievably smooth. One stroke leaves a plume of buttery soft nail filing behind. My nails are smooth and the time it takes to file them is reduced. The large file I use on my toes, the medium file is in my manicure kit, and I keep the small one in my purse. Super happy with all three!
