Perfect brush for the hair dryer. Just what I needed.
READ ME!! Great for Using the Tension Blow Dry Method on 4C Low Porosity Hair!
Not sure why, but one day after one of my comb attachments broke on the Gold N Hot Styler (for like the 4th time), I decided to see what the brush attachment could do. Wow, Wow, Wow. I was pleasantly surprised. If your hair is coarse and thick, do not expect this to grip your hair very firmly and pull through like a comb. Instead, detangle your hair first then use this as a stretching tool. I used the creme of nature blow dry creme and I hold my hair in my palm on one side and the blow dryer with the brush attachment in the other and pull gently in a downwards motion (see the tension method on youtube). My hair was blown out with all the moisture from my leave ins .. in no time flat. I only use the medium setting. My hair does not suffer from heat damage at all as I properly moisturize and use leave in conditioner and oils before I use the tool.<br /><br />Minus one star because the first time I used it the bristles on the edges began to curve outwards. I suspect that was due to me holding the hair to firmly against the brush. We'll see how long it lasts before the bristles make this unusable. Will try to be light handed.
