These were EXACTLY what I was looking for! I wore these for YEARS before an accident sent me to an MRI machine where they were umm...way less than careful about removing my earrings and mine got destroyed. They don't sell hoop piercing earrings in most big box stores anymore, so Amazon came to my rescue!<br /><br />I did not need the piercing kit, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of that, but for what it's worth, it looks exactly like the one I used to pierce my nose 20-some years ago.

I have sensitive ears and have been using studex brand for 20+ yrs. I wanted the basic hoops and used to purchase at sallys all the time. I havent been able to find these anywhere.
