The best natural, high coverage foundation!

This is truly a wonderful foundation and really good for the skin. I have rosacea and it covers really well and doesn’t irritate. I have tried so many others for my complicated skincare and coverage needs and this is the best! It really covers but still looks natural and light. As some other reviews have mentioned, application is key. Since it’s so concentrated, you do need to start with less and then build from there. I mix a single drop with a pea sized amount of my favorite BB cream (Complexion Rescue by Bare Minerals). I use a stippling brush or sometimes just my fingers to apply, let dry for a min while I do my brows and then use a dab (dab, not a drop) as concealer in the places I need a little more coverage. You can also use this product straight, but it will definitely dry much faster and tends to go from light to heavy very quickly, so less is more. Oh yes, and you *must* shake the bottle very well before each use, since it’s a natural serum, it will separate as it sits.

Takes some trial and error for shade, but really nice quality, cruelty-free, organic foundation

I bought this because I wanted a cruelty-free foundation with organic ingredients. First, it's really nice that this company offers samples since the product is a little pricey, but you are paying for clean, quality ingredients. I saw that some people mentioned the samples being really small, but I got over a week's worth out of a single sample. You really only need a couple drops of this stuff. I do have to agree with other people that it's slightly drying. What I do is either put a little jojoba oil on my face first or put 2 drops of foundation in my hand with a few drops of jojoba oil, and then apply with a foundation brush. Then I top it with a little powder also using the foundation brush, to set. You can also mix it with sunscreen as long as it's not the kind with a white cast (or that's also on the dry side) as that might make it too light or grayish. I tried it with a tinted Pacifica sunscreen/bronzer and that worked.<br /><br />Getting the shade right was a little tricky. I first tried the sampler with the lightest shades; the lightest couple shades would be best if you are truly very pale-skinned to porcelain. I am fair and pick up a little color in the summer even with sunscreen, and wound up deciding on the 2.5, but after I purchased it, still looked a little light on its own, and not the "perfect" shade. But because it's so thin and light in consistency (be careful when getting it out with the dropper and always shake it!) I you can easily mix it with a little bronzer. Because I like the product and wanted to make it work but wanted to avoid getting another whole bottle, I just got the sample sizes for the set of darker shades and adjusted it by adding a few drops of those to the main bottle. I don't spend a lot on cosmetics so it was worth it for a good product. Trying foundation shades by buying online is just tricky, period, but that's kinda how it is now!
