Great scissors and Comb on a budget
The comb does what a wood comb should do. The scissors have stayed sharp almost a year later. It's something that I would buy again if I happened to lose it.
For the man that loves being in control
This product has gave me the precision control I have been seeking with my beard. It's packaged beautifully and sleek. The scissors are professional quality, very smooth, and feel good in the hand. The comb feels as if it is hollow and is light weight. I would not carry it around with out the pouch and be very careful not to put excessive pressure on it. Though, the comb does look elegant and gets the job done. OVERALL VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT.

This would make a GREAT gift!
In an effort to stretch the amount of time in between haircuts for my husband, I've begun giving him little beard trims here and there to straighten it out or shape it up. I'll also trim some of the curls around/above his ears and at the neckline so that it's less messy for work. I don't do anything drastic by any means, but I have a steady hand for that sort of cut.<br /><br />Before, I was using whatever scissors I had around (I know, that's blasphemy in some circles). The most recent were KitchenAid kitchen shears (that I don't use for food items because I like my other kitchen scissors better), believe it or not. They are pretty sharp, so it's not quite as bad as it may sound.<br /><br />At any rate, I knew that made for a sad hair trim, so I decided to upgrade. This kit happened to also have a beard comb, so that was just a bonus.<br /><br />Oh man... I've been impressed across the board here. When I opened the Amazon box, there was a very nice display box by the manufacturer, with a magnetic lid and an opening made perfectly for the items. It makes for a great first impression, so this would be awesome as a gift.<br /><br />You can tell just by looking that the scissors are nice, but when you pick them up, it's like the metal is buttery and soft to the touch. It feels classy, if that makes any sense. And while I've barely used them so far (I trimmed him up super recently), let me tell you... it's like night and day. It's such a smooth cut. This is how it's meant to feel when you cut hair - I just know it. I've never looked forward to giving a hair trim so much!<br /><br />He already had a wooden beard comb, so I personally wasn't all that enthused about it like I was the scissors, but I have since been informed by him that the teeth are smaller on this one than on the other, which makes for a different beard combing experience. Now he has options, which he appreciates.<br /><br />Oh, and the case is nice as well. :) Seriously, you'll feel good about giving this as a gift.
