If you are like me (forced to home coloring your hair) this kit is helpful if you want to do some form of highlighting of your hair. This will allow me to spread out the sections of the hair without resorting to foils for the chunk highlight effect, and still control the amount of hair. The caps are disposable and you also get 3 different brushes to use when applying the color for different effects

I highlighted my hair!!
I actually highlighted my hair with it and it gave me great results without paying a fortune at the beauty salon.. I removed one start cause a lot of hairs broke and fell when pulling through the holes and also i did get hot roots not sure though if its because of the cap or because my previously dyed hair got too hot from the bleach... other than that its great it did the job with a lot of brushes etc for cheap
