Great little hairdryer

I have waited to update my review until I could actually use it myself and compare it to my full-sized Ionic dryer. It works much better than most travel-sized and is not loud and shrieky like most. I used the reducer for my hair and it dried almost as fast as my full-sized one. The seller was most accommodating with a replacement when the first one was found to be defective. If for some reason you get a "lemon", please give them the opportunity to make it right.<br /><br />I purchased this for my mother, who is 86 years old. It was delivered in mid-October. She uses it once or twice per week, so probably around 10 times. It overheated, burned her hand, turned itself off and won't start again. We're past the 30-day return window. Amazon customer support was accommodating but referred me to the seller. I have contacted the seller to see if they will remedy the situation. If they do, I'll update my review. For now, I'm extremely disappointed in this product and thankful my mom wasn't injured more severely.<br />UPDATE: the seller has shipped out a replacement unit, which I opted for since so many of the other reviews were good. I'm assuming we just got a defective unit. I'm attaching a short video that shows my mom turning on the hairdryer and while it doesn't start running, it DOES start smoking. You can also see it immediately starts smoking. I'm hopeful the new unit will work as expected, and am grateful to the seller for working to remedy the situation for my mom.<br />UPDATE #2: The seller (VICOODA) replaced the defective hair dryer. THANK YOU! I've updated my rating from one to three stars because we are still tentative. I was with my mom the first time she used the dryer; it never heated up, stayed cool. She's used it since and said it "heated up just fine, not too hot, but as expected." Again, we really appreciate the seller's quick response and action.
Indeed a professional hair dryer
My wife is liking it very much. She used a couple of dryers before but all of them went mal-functioned after a year or two. So, I had to buy a new one for her and I purchased this after looking at the reviews. It is so far working well for her. I also used it a few times and it dries my hair pretty quickly depending on the setting I choose. She is happy with it as it is light weight and has multiple option to chose from depending on a high or low setting for heat and even a cold option. The additional cap option is also great for styling purposes. The cable is sufficiently long and convenient. I guess she never needed to carry this for traveling purpose and it should be convenient if she wants to do it.

My Wife Loves It
This was one of the things that I bought my wife for her birthday and she loves it. Fairly small in size and puts out a lot of heat. It is very quite, which is something that I like. No more loud noise in the mornings.
Incrediable Hair Dryer

This dryer is affordable and just as great as a Dyson. It is compact, easy to fold, and not loud like others. I absolutely love this hair dryer. I highly recommend.
Small and powerful
This blowdryer works pretty well. especially for being so small! It is fairly quiet. It does not get terribly hot, if this is something you are looking for on your dryer. It is lightweight, which is nice. It does not do much to smooth the hair, as it says it does. The magnetic attachments are convenient, but do fall off on occasion. Overall, a decent dryer.
