Just what I needed
I did the BC about 3 months ago and my hair type all over appears to be a 4C and NAPPY!It's very coarse and coily. I couldn't get much of a curl definition without putting a lot gel or activator in my hair (which made for a lot of product buildup). I saw this product on YouTube and saw someone demonstrate getting curl definition with DRY hair.(Not what the product called for). I used the product both ways but made sure I put some sort of oil and leave-in conditioner on it first and still got great deinition. The cost is somewhat expensive but worth it until my hair grows longer so that I can manipulate it more.

I have had natural hair for years and tried everything to define and hold my curl. This is the best product I could find. My curl is not only great but my hair has grown so much since using this and the rest of the Hair Rules line for the last year. I have tried many other of the big name natural hair products and not only does this one work the best but it doesn't leave a residue on my hair. My hair never feels weighed down just clean and light. I recommend using the entire line of Hair Rules products, in my opinion the all natural conditioner also plays a big role in how your hair turns out.

I am newly natural and this is the best styling product I have used so far. I big chopped 7 months ago and I have sworn that KCCC (Kinky Curly Curling Custard) was the best thing ever until a friend of mine told me about the Hair Rules line. I am in love! I still have my KCCC around but this will be my first choice from now on. I have a combo of 3C/4A hair(kinky/curly) and the curly whip does wonders. It leaves your hair soft and light... NOT CRUNCHY(which KCCC tends to do)!Great product. Love it!
