Very happy with this topper

his is my first topper. I got the medium brown with dark blonde highlights in 12 inches. I cut a bit off to match my haircut. I was worried when I took it out of the bag, as the highlights were very striped, and I don't like that look. The hair was also very shiney and very straight. It looked unnatural.<br /><br />I washed it in cold water, put purple shampoo on it for 5 minutes, and the highlights color-corrected to something more natural looking in regard to my personal taste.<br /><br />I let it air dry. Then I got impatient and blow dried it, just a few minutes, on low heat. I must have put it in a few dozen times, and I still need to practice.<br /><br />I straightened it at 330 degrees F with no problem. The hair feels so soft.<br /><br />I'm not yet comfortable wearing it straight down, as I need to practice putting it in correctly. I'm very comfortable wearing it with some hair pulled back in the front, and clipping it with a small barrette.<br /><br />Due to the location of my hair loss, I think I need to bring it forward a bit more. I'm very conscious of the front clip showing a bit. I'm not sure how to hide that. I'm letting my hair grow out and I'll definitely be ordering a longer one someday.
