I can work with this!
I was able to cut the front folded rubber hairline off of this and make it blend fairly well with having a bit of my natural hair pulled out at the hairline. There is still a visible line because as you know, it's not lace, but a thin piece of rubber simulated scalp, so there's an edge, but on this wig I got lucky that the edge layed flat, so even though there's a line, it's a flat line as opposed to a lifted line which would look much more obvious. I've worn it in public, around my family and no one noticed it's a wig. It passed my test! I did sew wig combs in the sides and back though because the first time I wore it, there was slippage (even though I wore it with a wig grip), but since sewing on the combs, it doesn't budge. The hair itself is really pretty. It does shed quite a bit, but so does my natural hair. I'm used to it. It was fine putting some heat on it, just be careful...not too hot. Of course it tangles after wearing it for a day, but tangles come out just fine as long as you're gentle. The style of the hair is so pretty, and if you don't mind working with it a little (cutting the rubber, plucking the part, adding combs, etc.), it's worth the cost and has the potential to look fairly natural. Sorry about the graininess of the photo due to low lighting. Other photos I took made the wig take on a reddish hue, so I didn't post those here, but it truly is a light/medium brown with darker (not black) roots.
