I love these! They stay in place, but aren't too tight, and the buttons are in the perfect place! RN approved! If your headbands slide a lot make sure you wear them just below your hairline on your forehead
If you find ear elastics uncomfortable, these are an easy fix, plus mask fits better
These are very easy to wear, and comfortable. They should eliminate ear irritation and abrasions due to pressure and rubbing by mask ear loops.<br /><br />I keep my index fingers on the buttons as I pull the headband into place, and haven't needed to adjust the positioning after putting it where it looks best. When I loop the mask's ear elastics over the buttons, my mask stays in the right position, and has less slack at the sides, which is a win-win.<br /><br />It might be helpful for some, since nobody seems to be explaining this to the general population, to have some tips about how nurses (are taught to) put facial masks on so that they'll stay where they're meant to. Hold the mask up to your face, lining (generally white) side toward you, and with the long edge with the nose strip (some just feel a little stiffer on one edge than the other) toward the top. Place the mask against your face, centered, with the top at the bridge of your nose. Hold it there as you mold that strip closely over your nose, and against your cheekbones (to the extent that you can). Keep holding it there with one hand, while you use the other to pull down on the lower edge, so that it goes down below your chin (or to, if it won't go below – when you can, you'll want a longer, better fitting mask, which will stay there). Still holding the mask in place over your face, use the other hand to either put the ear loops in place (in this case) over the buttons on the headband. Using this headband, and putting the earloops over the buttons will also help keep the mask up over your nose, where it belongs if it's going to provide the best protection, since germs won't have as easy a time getting around the sides as you breathe.<br /><br />Thank you very much for reading my review. I LOVE the colors! I have very thick hair so hairbands are almost always snug and this is the same width as most hairbands. Vibrant color. The buttons are placed EXACTLY where you need them. The seller includes extra buttons. The buttons are not removable but when you take the mask off you can flip the hairband so the buttons face inward so you don't see them. I like the big white buttons, they give me a retro 1940's look.
